The name had to hold both sides
We needed a name that could hold sourdough, aguas frescas, healthy sweets, coffee, and events without sounding too narrow. Madre Frescas gave us room to grow while still feeling rooted and memorable.
What Madre means to us
Madre points to the sourdough mother, the starter that gives bread life. It also carries warmth, care, and family, which fits the feeling we wanted behind the food.
What Frescas adds
Frescas points to aguas frescas, fresh ingredients, and the lighter direction of the brand. Together, the words tell customers that this is bread, drinks, and comfort with a fresh point of view.
